Grown People Night! Holla!!

Last week was restaurant week in Cola so Brie and I made plans to go out and try something new. The Saurs narrowed it down to two and then I made final decision: The Cellar on Greene. Its basically a wine bar with excellent food (BONUS!) It was kinda crowded b/c of it being RW but we hung out at our little table and drank fancy beers and Riesling till we could get put at the big one. The boys had pan steaks and the girls had pork. You can look at the menu from the link b/c it was a lot more complicated than just steak and pork. We had a great time! Always good to hang with your best friends and just chill and eat...and drink too. http://www.cellarongreene.com

New Years...Yaaaaawn.

Michael worked New Years Eve so stayed up till midnight, called him and then went to bed. Thats it. No biggie. We are sooo wild.

2009 was a great year for us! We got to go and do such great things. The Dominican trip has really given me the travel bug. I want to go go go! Plans for 2010 so far: end of Jan going to Florida to see my cousin Megan get married to Matt (who we all love to pieces. They are the PERFECT match. Gonna cry I can feel it. :) March we are taking the boys back to Florida to Disney for the first time for Dyl's happy 5th birthday. Michael hasn't been either so it'll be great fun. We are staying in a hotel with a giant Buzz Lightyear and Woody. And then we'll spend one day at Magic Kingdom and one day at Animal Kingdom and come home the next day. April I am flying to California to spend four days with Adam and Catherine. Talks of Vegas and NYC are also in the works. We'll see how fundage goes. Lots to look forward too.

I'm not one for New Years resolutions. Try not to set myself up for failure. 2010 is going to be a great year I can feel it!

Santa Came To Town

Christmas Eve Dylan was about to explode with excitement. Michael put the Nordaq site up on the PC so he could track Santa. In France the lady mentioned Santa wouldn't come until children were asleep. He is screaming "Lets goto bed!!" Fakes a yawn and says, "Momma I am soooo tired." It was 6:30! That was the only night in Dylan history that we didn't have to fight his ass to goto bed. Both boys were out by 7:30 and then the construction began. Only took Michael 3 hours to set up the kitchen for Lucas and the Wii for Dyl. I put the stockings together and wrapped.

Next morning Michael was first up and turned on the James train so it was going in circles on its track when the boys came down the stairs. Dylan woke up and I stalled him so I could get up the baby. GAME ON! They had a blast. Lucas was squealing at the top of his lungs in the Hot dog stand from my parents. And Dylan was super stoked about his Mario figurines and Wii game.

Mom and Dad got there around noon and we finished opening the boys presents first and then opened our own. Thanks for all my goodies!!! Next I finished up making dinner and we had a very low key family dinner. No fits (from the kids...you never know about Dad haha.) It was perfect...except A and C couldn't be with us. :(

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!!

I turned 30.

In case you missed it. I turned 30 on the 18th of December. I don't know how you could have b/c I told everyone...often and stopped just short of throwing boulders with notes taped on them. For my actual day Michael worked till 5 and then we used our annual Outback giftcard from the Northcutts (they rock!!) We pigged out major. Then the next day Mom and Dad came over and hung out for a bit and then treated us to Logan's Steakhouse. I know that sounds like a lot of steak but I had Alice Springs Chicken the first night. lol It was a great birthday. Thanks for all the well wishes!!

2nd Elvish Christmas Party

The 2nd Annual Elvish Christmas party was a huge success. And I know this b/c all the food was gone and nobody had to be taken away by ambulance. 16 kiddies and their Momma's and Daddy's came to hang out with us and eat food and play.

Santa came and saw us again this year and Alex and Bella were about to explode with excitement. Aunt Beth was pretty happy too. He brought books and coloring kits for the kiddies. Thanks Santa for hanging out with us!

It is always a ton of fun to get all of our friend's and their children together. They grow SO fast. Jacob Fields (turned one yesterday) showed off his near walking abilities. Liam got to play in the toy box and his Daddy pushed him on the swing. And all the big boys played Mario on the computer...like drones. :)

Next year I'll remember cups. Thanks for making the trek to the booming metropolis of Sumter to see us. Love you!!!

Well crap I don't know how to undo the two pics of Nic and Silas. Woops. LOL
