A Very Murley Christmas
We had a very nice Christmas at Casa de Murley. Santa came to see us during the night and ate all the cookies we left for him. He was a very nice guy and brought us all yet more prizes, the big yellow monster truck being the all time winner. But Daddy and Momma did pretty ok too with a new mic and stand and a Paris Hilton perfume set. Lucas got to wear the new bib Ms. Darlene made him. And Momma went all out and made a rotisserie chicken from Bi-lo for dinner. :) It was low key and perfect. Hope everyone else's day was just as wonderful.

Lucas is on the move!
I set Lucas down on the floor on all fours. I look down at him and he is sitting straight up! All by himself he sat up, so I ran and got the camera. He also can now balance on his knees and pull himself up on the chair every now and again. I proped him up against the door so he could see the cat and he stayed there long enough for me to run to the desk to get the camera. I do a lot of camera running these days.
The Family Portrait
We have not had a family photo done since I used hairspray on my bangs and Adam still wore t-shirts with wolves and eagles on them. It was time. We have four additional family memebers since the Belk photo.
Adam has all the good family shots on his camera (his new one from Catherine for Christmas!!) because Michael and I haven't read our book and don't know how to set the timer yet. :)
Christmas at Nana and Poppa's house
We had Christmas early this year at Mom and Dad's because Adam and Catherine couldn't make it down for the actual day. This is all fine and good for us cause we like to open presents any time! ;)
It was great fun as usual. Watching your mom play Guitar Hero will make anyone's holiday bright. Thank you all for all of our goodies.
I love you and am so glad to have such a great family.

Girlz Night at Mad Platter
Stacy, Shannon A., Brie and I spent our monthly girls night at Mad Platter. Its a paint your own pottery place and then they will fire it for you and SHAZAM beautiful works of art. They also are now doing silver charms which Stacy and Shannon decided to do.
It was sooo much fun! We had the big table in the back and Shannon brought wine and chocolate. What more do you need right?! I can't wait to get my Christmas plate back and already have my next project planned in my head.
Next month...line dancing. And yes I will bring the camera. :)

Little Elves Christmas Party
The Murley's first annual Elfish Christmas party was a huge success. Santa made a grand entrance and only made one little elf sad...which was a great photo op for her mommy.
There was plenty of good grub to eat including two chocolate cakes, one oreo cheesecake, two boxes of cupcakes, and a Baskin Robins ice cream cake (that we forgot about till it was just the Murleys and the Arthurs left...woops).
Thank you all for sharing our Christmas with us. We are blessed with truely wonderful friends. Happy Holidays!
