Gude/Murley Christmas

We had a very Gude Christmas early at mom and dad's house in Manning. Everyone brought food so Mom didn't have to do it all. SO good! Paula Deen ham y'all, squash cass, mac n cheese, pea layer salad, stuffing/gravy, deviled eggs, and rolls. THEN for dessert we all brought cookies. Fatteh. We opened presents and ornaments. Mom got a turkey leg with bright red toe nails from Adam and Catherine. It was pretty sweet. Next year they need a bigger tree. We have no photographic evidence of any of this. Just trust me. I'm too tired to lay in bed and blog about imaginary ham. :D

Murley Christmas was on actual Christmas. Dyl got up b/f the sun and was so excited he was vibrating.
I had to wake up Lucas and he told me "Santa has NOT come its still dark!" My kid. So I drug him down stairs and his response to his new bike: "What is dis fing doing in the wiving woom?!" Lord. They were stoked with the Plants Vs Zombie game, roller blades and Max LOVED his ball pit. He grinned and squealed and loved it.
Nana and Poppa came over around noon and we played and ate dip until it was sketti dinner time. I made spaghetti and salad and mom brought garlic bread. Tada! Easy. Fabulous. I stayed in my jammies all day long. It was rainy and gross outside so no need to leave the hizzy. Merry Christmas to everyone. We love you!!!

I'm 32

No really. I am. I'm still waiting to feel old. I have yet to have a melt down freak out fit about entering my 30s. Maybe I'll get around to it in my 40s?? We didn't do much. Michael was off so we just kinda hung out with the boys.
This is Zeke the Owl. (yes subject change I don't have a picture of me aging) I made Zeke via needle felting. So he's wool. There is something therapeutic about stabbing something with a needle until it becomes an owl. Tada!

Thanksgiving/Mom's birthday

It happened. We have no proof but it did. We all had dinner at Mom and Dad's house and it was GOOD. REALLY good. I'll have to have Dylan draw you a re-enactment photo.

Oh, boys.

The monster trucks are doing good. Max is crawling and standing up while holding on. He is growing 5 new teeth and is a slobby mess. New words: Uh, oh (normally followed by throwing something or hitting me with the remote), Ba-ba, Mama, dada, and UP. But he mostly likes to scream at the top of his lungs for no reason.

Lucas is Bowzer crazed and can't wait for Christmas. Or his birthday in Apwil. He's doing great in school and learning his letters.

Dylan is doing good in all of his subjects but Reading. The main problem is he has no interest in it. If everything was Mario related he might show more interest. He'd rather be drawing...on anything and everything. And he's got mad drawing skillz. Thank goodness he got Michael's art talent and not mine.

Blaine Matthew Kohan has arrived!!

Welcome to the world Blaine Matthew!

A very Murley Halloween

Its only been 3 months since my last post. NOT. TOO. SHaBBY. I have only missed 2 major holidays and a birth

. Go me.

We tried to keep it pretty low key this Halloween b/c last year was so bazonkers. Dylan was Toad, Lucas Mario or a Crabby Patty and Max was the big fuzzy chicken. We went to Boo at the Zoo with the Arthurs and Casey. Then went to eat at Fudruckers. Uncle Dave told us all about his Ghostbuster days. Loads of fun and Carys was the cutest strawberry ever.
